The Out of School Hours (OOSH) service offers centre based care for children aged 5-12 years for before school, after school and during school holidays. The centre is accredited and awarded the rating of high quality in April of 2008.
Its purpose is to create a safe and caring environment where children can freely choose from a varied program of activities. This Centre is a non-profit organization, is incorporated in its own right and administered by a volunteer management committee.
The objective is to offer affordable high quality care in a safe home away from home environment. Before and after school care caters to the students attending Ryde East Public School. Vacation care is offered to the students of the school as well as children in the community.
Ryde East OOSH is located in the grounds of Ryde East Public School.

The Centre is open from 7.00 am to 9.00 am and 2.30 pm to 6.00 pm on school days. At 3.15 pm all children make their own way to the Centre from their classrooms. Kindergarten children are escorted to and from the Centre by staff during term 1. The Director can be contacted by phone or email.

To enrol your child you must complete an enrolment form, which can be obtained from the Centre, and pay the appropriate membership fee. The enrolment form must be completed IN FULL, PRIOR to your child attending the Centre. This form contains medical consent in case of an accident. It also specifies who may collect your child from the centre. Please state any special needs as this will assist in the quality of care we provide.
NB: The Centre Must be informed of any custody arrangements or court orders that impact on the collection of children. The Centre Director MUST sight and keep a copy of any such order affecting custody of child at the centre.
